Rock Con

Well its my birthday and as a gift to myself, Dawn and I attended the Rock Con in the Meadowlands in New Jersey. We started the day off in Dorney Park with our friends from WMGK and then headed up to the Rock Con. It was billed as the place to go to hang out with your favorite Rock stars, chat, get autographs, screen movies, listen to jamsessions and visit the worlds largest rock and rock memoriabila flea market. Well, since we all know that I collect autographs, you know I was in heaven. Friday show was to start at 5, (we got the VIP package with 1 hr advance for all sessions), but since I forgot the damn tickets, I didnt get in till close to 6 the normal time. I took a guitar into the meet and greet room, and the first person I see is Billy Hiche from Dino, Desi, and Billy. We chat for a min, and I ask for an autograph to which Billy replies, Sure, $10. WHAT THE $&*)????? I had no clue that there was going to be a charge for autographs, and had I known, I would not have brought so many guitars (7 total). With a supposed 100 artists in attendance, that comes to $1000. Then I asked if I could take a picture to which Billy replies, Sure $10. WTF???? I am using my own camera and he wants me to pay him. Well, all this money has put an instant damper on my fun for the weekend.
